Team Competition Standings Week 2

Hello again everyone as promised I am updating you on the Team Competition Standings. Week 2 saw Team 5 continue to dominate by again winning the competition, having the most in attendance, bringing the most offering and having the only visitor! They continue to lead the standings and have taken a commanding 2000 point lead over Take 2! 4th Infantry was able to overtake Da' Bears for the 3rd spot in the standings.

Here are the Standings after Week 2:

1. Team 5 (Red Team): 4500 points
2. Take 2 (Orange Team): 2550 points
3. 4th Infantry (Green Team): 2050 points
4. Da' Bears (Blue Team): 1800 points

Remember you can earn points for you team for the doing the following: Being Present, Bringing Your Bible, Giving a STL Offering, Bringing a Visitor and Participating in the Competition of the Week. Remember the winning team at the end of the summer wins a trip to GREAT AMERICA!!

Team Competition Standings Week 1

Hello Everyone! I figured it would be good to post the Team Standings each week. So I am going to post them every week on my Blog! Week 1 was very interesting. Team 5 had a great week with the most people in attendance, the most offering, the only visitor and they won the team competition which was the Mountain Dew Chugging Contest (Check out the vidoe below)!



Here are the Standings after Week 1:

1. Team 5 (Red Team): 2250 points
2. Take 2 (Orange Team): 1200 points
3. Da' Bears (Blue Team): 1050 points
4. 4th Infantry (Green Team): 950 points

2008 SUMMER TEAM COMPETITION ROSTERS

Hey Everyone!!! If you don't already know our F-5 Team competitions have already begun. I wanted to write this blog and inform everyone of how the competitions are working. So here goes!

First, I want to inform everyone of the team breakdown. We split you up into teams based on a drawing. We put your names in a hat and had each captain draw a name. The team Captains were chosen from the students who were in our Student Leadership Class. They are David Santineau Captain of Team 5 (RED), Raymond Santineau Captain of Da' Bears (BLUE), Sam Kruse Captain of Take 2 (ORANGE) and Isaiah Scudder Captain of 4th Infantry (GREEN). Here is the team breakdown:

If your name is not on this list then you haven't been to youth group in a while or you are still a new visitor and when you come we will assign you to a team! Sorry if I spelled any names incorrectly!

Here is how the scoring works. Each week you come you will earn points for your team for being present, bringing your Bible, bringing a STL offering and Mega Points for bringing a visitor! You will also earn points for your team for participating in the the competitions of the night! For instance on June 18th we will have a Mt Dew chugging contest! If you participate you earn points for your team and if you win, you earn Mega Points for your team!! You can also gain spirit points for your team throughout the summer for things like wearing your team colors, writing a team song or poem or anything crazy that Pastor Phil approves!!! Just ask me and I'll let you know if you can earn points for you team!!!

DON'T FORGET the winning team at the end of the summer wins a free trip to GREAT AMERICA!!! Remember in order to get the free trip you must attend youth group at least 75% of the time this summer!!! That means each month you must attend youth group 3 out of 4 weeks.
